Turkish passports for individuals 18 years and older are valid for 10 years. You can easily
renew your passport upon its expiry. There is no minimum amount of residency required.
The laws of Turkey recognize and allow dual citizenship and you are not required to renounce
your other citizenships. You are not required to reside in Turkey to keep your citizenship
status.

ELIGIBILITY

There are three ways to obtain Turkish citizenship:

1) Purchase of real estate in Turkey worth a minimum US$400,000. The property may be sold after three years.

2) Deposit a minimum US$500,000 in Turkish bonds for three years.

3) Establish a business, which generates jobs for minimum 50 people.

The application process normally takes 3 to 6 months.

Currently, the citizenship application process in Turkey does not require an interview. That being said, the government is strict in their due diligence process. You may be requested to have an interview under certain circumstances.
